Lindsey Whetzel is a dedicated and results-driven education professional with extensive experience in both school administration and classroom teaching. With a passion for improving school operations, enhancing student experiences, and driving academic excellence, she has led transformative initiatives in digital systems, grant writing, and curriculum development. Lindsey’s career spans over two decades, during which she has worked in diverse educational settings, from K-12 schools to administrative leadership roles. Her expertise in science and math instruction, along with her strong background in technology, staff development, and operational efficiency, make her a versatile and invaluable asset in education leadership.
In her role at St. Ambrose School, Lindsey was instrumental in the digital transformation of school operations, leading the transition to online systems for tuition payments, parent forms, and communication. She played a pivotal role in the development and management of the school’s new Dual Language Program, securing funding through successful grant writing initiatives. Her ability to track and manage grant funds, as well as her collaboration with diocesan leadership and local government agencies, ensured the continued success of these projects. Lindsey’s leadership also extends to technology implementation, where she designed and launched a custom website for the school’s dual language program. As a skilled program manager, she has consistently streamlined operations. Additionally, Lindsey has proven her ability to recruit, train, and lead teams and enhanced professional development for faculty, implementing year-long training programs in educational technology, classroom management, and mission alignment, ultimately driving strategic growth for the school.
As a Lead Teacher at multiple prestigious high schools, Lindsey gained a wealth of experience teaching science and math in diverse and dynamic classrooms. Her experience spans various socioeconomic and cultural communities. Lindsey earned her master's degree in education from the University of Notre Dame and an undergraduate degree in biology from Georgetown University. These institutions instilled in her a love of learning and a mission to serve others.
